Why are media events important?
It's the best way for companies to engage in face to face interaction with top consumer, trade, broadcast and newspaper editors. How many times have you met a products editor from "O" Oprah Magazine, Woman's Day, Real Simple, Family Circle and many others?

Why do journalists attend?
Journalists walk the because 1) its a quick way to view 60 different company offerings and pre-select what they would like to review. 2) its in New York...the heart of the publishing world...and perfect for editors to visit for a few hours.

What kinds of products are the journalists seeking?
Any consumer products are welcome. There will be a wide cross section of journalists there with different beats...whether it be personal care or home products. Other areas include gifts, health and fitness and many more areas.

What does it cost to exhibit at the event?
The cost to showcase four products at your table is $1,000.00. If you are an advertising agency or manufacturer and would like to arrange for multiple tables please contact us for special pricing.

What is the style of the event?
The event are designed to accommodate 60 exhibitors with tabletops. Most exhibitors simply bring products (samples to give to editors), press kits and brochures. The show will have approximately 150-250 RSVP'ed journalists, while 100 to 150 will attend.

What is provided during the event?
The show will provide a 6' blue skirted tablecloth (with storage underneath). We will have a large show magalog that each journalist will get in addition to their show bag for press kits.

NEW for 2008 Exhibitors:
We'll include all exhibitors in our printed "magalog" and online "e-zine" distributions...targeting media attendees and non-attendees!

How do journalists find out about the event?
The Gift Guide Show staff will contact media a few months before the show and gather RSVPs.
